Very faint line

Hello,

I did my first test on thursday morning and got the faintest ''is it even a line'' line, re tested in the afternoon and they was a definite yet very faint line.

Tested again this morning and its pretty much the same sort of very light line. Used first responce each time.

Since there is some sort of line Im assuming I am pregnant? But Im worried/confused something has gone wrong if the line isnt getting darker 3 days on. Should I try a different brand? Or just skip another home test and book an appointment at the doctors.

My other symptoms are bigger sore boobs and odd cramping in the right side of my tummy.

Confused

Sounds like you are pregnant to me.

i'd go see your doctor.

deemented · 27/03/2011 10:59

This happened to me last month.

I got a squinter, the feintest of feint lines. It wasn't getting any darker at all, and tbh it was doing my head in. In the end i went and spent a tenner on one of those fancy clearblue digital tests, and it came up with 'pregnant 1-2'. Much relief.

Good luck.

fallingandlaughing · 27/03/2011 11:00

I only tested once. There was a faint line.

That means you are pregnant. Congratulations.

My faint line is now a 23+3 bump!

d0gFace · 27/03/2011 11:45

yes I got a really really feint line to start with with ds2 who is now standing on a stool and helping himself to grapes out of the fridge!

TheFantasticFixit · 27/03/2011 12:46

Same happened here; and like Dee in the end I bought a CB digital as well which gave the same result - pregnant 1-2! All confirmed now but in the limbo stage where I want to test all the time just to double check it's still there so try one of those - I think I did mine about 4 days after the initial faint line FR test. your symptoms sound exactly like mine though!

Congratulations x

PrettyVacant1 · 27/03/2011 12:52

A line is a line! Smile
Congratulations.

nancy10 · 27/03/2011 14:32

Congratulations! I had what I thought was a negative test, looked later and there was a line. I could only see it in certain lights. Did another test and had a hardly there line. Did a CB digital and it spelt it out for me 'pregnant 1-2 weeks.' I'm almost 35 weeks now!

dribbleface · 27/03/2011 16:38

Oh congratulations, i did this over 4 days (see at least 5 threads i started on it Blush) I was indeed pregnant and am 13 weeks now.

Lookandlearn · 27/03/2011 16:50

A line is def a line, as long as it doesn't appear after the test time, sonerines a line will appear an hour, or longer after you test and this could be an evaporation line. But anything within the testing time is a positive. Congrats.

d0gFace · 27/03/2011 16:52

Thanks everyone. :)

I was exactly the same. 6 tests with very faint barely there line, then did a CB digital which told me I was pregnant. Now 7+4. congratulations x

d0gFace · 27/03/2011 22:24

Update: I couldnt wait, so went out for a CB digital.

Yay! Congratulations! Just wanted to add that my enormous 31 week baby belly was 2 feint First Response tests and a feint one at the Doctors a few days later! Grin

TheFantasticFixit · 28/03/2011 10:33

wooohooo! Congratulations! Yay!

d0gFace · 28/03/2011 22:21

Im still having some mild/uncomfortable craps, Ive just had a wee and when I wiped they was some pinkinsh blood. Wiped twice more and now its clear. Im pretty worried, has anyone else had this and been fine?

Booked into doctors for next week as its hard to get in.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Had a wee and a small clot came out with it. Cramping has pretty much gone.

Dogface: It could possibly be implantation bleeding? Really hope so for you. Try not to panic and rest as much as you can. Thinking of you lots Smile

Newmummytobe79 · 29/03/2011 10:55

Congratulations! It sounds like implantation bleeding to me. I had pinkish discharge and two tiny weeny clots on the day my period was due ... panicked like mad ... now 17+6!

I'm sure all will be fine but make a note of everything and take your notes to the Dr's with you.

They said my spotting was 'normal'

frida75 · 29/03/2011 11:09

Hope all is OK, spotting is very common especially at time of your period

d0gFace · 29/03/2011 16:28

Thanks for the messages, been to docs and having a scan tomorrow.

Still losing about a tea spoon when on the loo, very much like period blood.

Fingers crossed for your D0gface: really really hoping it is all okay for you and you get some good news at your scan tomorrow.

Lots of unmumsnetty hugs your way Smile

Hopefully it'll be implantation bleeding.

When you go for your scan, don't go expecting a heart beat or anything. It's too early for that so don't be disappointed. They will in all likelihood want to do an internal scan (they use a probe and cover it in a lubricated condom Grin it's not painful at all, barely even uncomfortable, just a little undignified!) where they will hopefully confirm the presence of a pg sac.

It is quite likely they'll roughly date it and then ask you to come back for another scan between 7-8 wks to 'assess viability' ie check there's a heartbeat.

I've had implantation bleeding with 3 of my 4 pgs. I've also lost one in betweens dds 1&2 and it was totally different.

Good luck. Do come back hopefully with some good news!

d0gFace · 30/03/2011 13:59

Didnt have a scan as was just over 5 weeks. Took blood.

Early MC.

Thanks for all your messages and support.

I'm sorry. Take care of yourself. And remember that you are allowed to be upset. Brew
