when to set everything up?

I'm due in 5 1/2 weeks and was wondering when would be the right time to set the moses basket up as I don't want it gathering dust? Also should I wash all the babies bedding and clothes if there fresh out of the shops and packets?

I would wash all the beddings and stuff as well as all the clothes.
What do you mean by "settink up" Moses basket? Would it take long?

i woulld wash all the clothes

even more important to wash the brand new ones to wash out residual chemicals from manufacture.
also wash the moses basket sheets / bumpers etc etc, but ti think for now at least id keep the clean sheets etc in a drawer. Will only take a moment to out on, but at least if baby comes early its all ready to just be put on.

You will probably get some warning that baby might be coming soon, so can assemble it then
