I saw my physio today (about another issue) and she noticed I have SPD she did some checks and it is mostly on the left, I am 13 weeks on DC3 she was lovely and has put me straight in for physio, I know I am very lucky to be seen so quick. How bad is this likely to get? I need help sometimes walking. She has also told me about keeping aligned (sorry unsure of spelling) and given me some exercizes.

I believe with SPd it varies in how bad it can get. The fab thing is you have been seen asap so you can get help. I got symptoms at 19 weeks but these have improved now 21 weeks but still feel them.

I had SPD in my 2nd pregnancy.

This is now my 3rd pregnancy and i was diagnosed at 13 weeks with SPD. Managed to control using co-codamol and gym ball up till 29 weeks when i started noticing that pain killers were not helping and that i felt like i was going to fall over to my left alot more. Consultant referred me down to physio who i saw at 31 weeksand said that it was definately SPD and that my core muscles on my left side had no active control. I have exercises to do and also have a large brace to wear when i am active. I have to have physio every 2 weeks also and am due to go back Tuesday.
