How long do you have to wait for your appointments?

I am 31 weeks with DC3. I had a midwife appointment at my local surgery at 10.45am and and still waiting to be called in; it is 11.30 now. It's so infuriating, I feel like leaving and not bothering with future appointments. With 2 other children, there is so much I should be doing with this time and will have to leave in a minute without seeing anyone as I have to collect DS2 from nursery. Arghhhh! Do you have to wait like this?

You need to consider that sometimes unexpected things happen during appointments or a delay starting due to an unexpected event, for example someone coming in who is unwell and needing admission to the unit or, worst case scenario there being a problem with the baby.

It IS infuriating and I myself get irritated if my appointment is just 5 mins late! BUT i am completely understand how it happens but to just leave and not attend your appointments doesn't help anyone, least of all you.

It is utterly infuriating, especially if you have your toddler with you and have run out of snacks, books, etc that you've brought. App times are a total fiction in mky ante natal clinic and they rarely apologise or explain. Yes things do come up but not EVERY time. They seem to just overbook the clinics and expect yuo not to have anything better to do, like a job.
