ECV worked - for now, what next?!

37 weeks, just had ECV from transverse, after a good bit of pushing and rolling, she managed to get it head down, but was concerned about how mobile baby is and chance of 'flopping' back to transverse, where it was clearly comfortable (and resisted being moved from!) - what can I do next? The DR said to 'get contracting' ASAP, so I've been squatting, sitting on gym ball and walking around - anything else?!

Hey Pootletrinket, glad to hear that your ECV was succesful! Smile Hope you wern't in too much discomfort.

Loads of sitting on birth ball and all fours!

Fingers crossed your DC stays put!

Thanks Leilababy! It was bad at points, but overall not bad at all - worthwhile if it stays!

Consultant said no more on all 4's.....but she didn't seem sure - eek!

Oh well, maybe stick to the birth ball to encourage optimal positioning- Good Luck!

No, not first baby. Suspect it's flopped out already as can't feel the head but will keep going on the ball anyway!

Did you get my message abouyt an abdominal/pregnancy belt? Keeps the uterus in a position thatencurages head down. Should be worn pretty continuously if poss.

Thanks Selina I did, had posted this beforehand. Pretty sure baby has turned back now, but will look into belt for 'next time' hopefully.
