Hmm, I read a thread comparing St Mary's & Wythenshawe recently. I'll see if I can find it.

Here you are

It's from a year ago though.

I'm wondering the same, moving up to Manchester during my pregnancy. Want a homebirth so also wondering which hospital is better at providing homebirths.

St marys is supposed to be brilliant for multiples or pgs with complications. North mcr has a new mw led birth unit opening soon which is meant to have nice facilities.

It probably will end up being St Mary's as it's v close..just wanted to get a few opinions first.

I went to st mary's today for my 20 week scan, it is really newly built and clean.

Was pretty upset the way the scan people spoke to me, very rude at the desk. Stood at the antenatal desk for a good 5 mins before anyone asked what i needed!

also had a horrific experience when i had pains at 16 weeks, they took me in a room full of leaflets about dealing with miscarriage and forgot about me for 3 hours!!!!!!!( later found my doctor had been called away to perform an emergency cesarean but a nurse could of told me?)
