Is a late scan okay?

Right I was unsure of my dates because of bf and no period so had a early scan was given two dates bean 6+2 and sack 7+5. They are going on the earlier date and giving my 12 week scan when I will be 13+2 by the earlier dats (next week). But if the earlier date was right I would have had a positive pg test at 3 weeks pg so I think the later date is more likely. So that would make me 14+5 for my 12 week scan is this a problem? sorry if this is confusing.

It depends, is it just adating scan you are having?

No problem with either date. The dating scan can be done anytime from 8-9 weeks. It's just called a 12wk scan by us pg ladies. Same as the "20wk" scan can be done 16-24ish weeks. The measurements for the dating scan can be less accurate as time goes on due to variable growth but can be used pretty late really (e.g. getting toward 20 wks). 13-14 weeks for a dating scan is usual (mine was done at 15wks and I was referred for it at 6wks)

If it's for dating it should be fine then.
