Clearblue query

Hi all

I got a faint thin BFP with a Clearblue with FMU today. Just done a First Response and it was BFN. I'm on CD30 of an average 29 day cycle. I know the answer is to wait a few days and retest but I heard Clearblue can give faint BFPs which aren't real.

Anyone got any experience?

I haven't heard that myself, was the test line okay?

havnt had this experience but always thought you couldnt get a false positive only a false negative.

Also if the line was a coloured one not grey, and you read the test in the stated time and not after then it is unlikely to be false, false positives are extremely rare.

It was very faint but I had similar with DS. Very faint for a few days before getting darker. The line faded after a couple of hours - guess I'll have to keep on waiting!

Thanks Nunnie - I did one yesterday and a blue line showed up about 30 mins after I did the test. I disregarded that as it was outside of the time but today it was within 3 mins and although it was faint it was blue!! Fingers crossed.

A faded positive is not rare, mine was faded with my DS and this one.
