There are so many on the market - who can recomend a good support band?

Do you gereraly get what you pay for?

Is there anything worth noting about any of them? Any advice would help as i've not tried one b4 Smile

I had a soft one by Carriwell that was pretty useless for me as it kept rolling up and one of the Emma Jane wide elastic ones. This was slightly better but only when worn over my trousers as it also helped to keep my oddly fitting Next maternity jeans up!

Ooh, I'm interested to hear any answers to this - I ordered a Bump Band from NCT shop this morning, without giving much thought as to whether they varied in quality / effectiveness...

I bought a Bump Band, and am so far a bit unimpressed... I got the impression they should be useful from at least mid-pregnancy onwards -- I'm currently 25 weeks, and could definitely use a bit of support/hiding of gaps under tops that are now a bit short, but they only come in two sizes and I'm near the boundary (size 14 pre-preg, and they come in 8-12 or 14-18), and at the moment the "large" one is way too big. Are they really only meant for the last month or two? Or maybe it's because it's my first pregnancy, so I'm smaller than an "average" size-14 pregnant person at this stage? But in any case for me it's unlikely to be any use before 30+ weeks if not later, which is a shame as I definitely feel I could use something now, and can't bring myself to spend money on another one...

I bought mine from Topshop they cost £5, I'm a 12/14 I bought S/M. Started wearing them at around 14 weeks as I found belts very uncomfortable and needed help keeping my low cut jeans up/ hiding my undone not so low cut jeans. Still going strong at 35 weeks, they are definitely my pregnancy best buy.
