Insect Bites

I'm soon to go on holiday [GRIN] and normally get attacked by mosquitos - I'm the one with the bites all over my legs! I'm 6 months pregnant and I'm sure I've read that you shouldn't use the insect sprays and creams as some of the ingrdients are harmful to the baby. Any ideas or advice? Thanks

I think you can use anything as long as it doesnt contain deet - cream is better than spray....as far as I understand anyway

Find an avon lady and ask about skin so soft (SSS) Apparently one of the products is also a very good inscet repellent. I heard a rumor that the SAS use it - but that might be an urbab legend. Ecaliptus oil also works quite well too, but it stinks!

Ooo yes,Joanne I had forgotten that stuff. It is not an urban legend...at least I am guessing not because I know the Paras use it! I have used it myself against the wee midgey beasties during an event in the Highlands and can vouch for its effectiveness...and bonus, you get soft skin too! Load up First, its great.
