Help?

It seems really silly but i was wondering if anyone else has had this?

I am 34 weeks (tomorrow) and i get a pain across the top of my tummy (what i call the ledge!) Kinda where your bra sits, now i thought it was caused by my bra but its not cos i get it when im not wearing one too!!

sometimes it feels like a burn, a bit like sunburn, and sometimes it feels like my bra/boobs are rubbing on my belly but its not red or blotchy or anything!

its really hard to describe but i'm wondering whether baby is starting to move downwards and its the weight stretching the skin/muscle that is causing it as i don't generally get this pain untill 4-5 hours after i have got up so i'm thinking....gravity lol

any help, opinions etc would be a big help!

Its probably just your skin stretching

Your body is under a lot of pressure at 34 weeks pregnant.

I dont want to worry you but when my daughter was checked out because of rib pain the doctor mentioned pain at the top of the bump and pre eclampsia, is it worth you speaking to the midwife, x

Is it your ribs, or is it your bump? I am also 34 weeks tomorrow :) and since Friday night, normally in the middle of the night, I've had the worst pain at the top of my ribs / under my boob on the left hand side. The pain is definitely on my bone, rather than flesh or skin - it feels like I've taken a good kicking and all the bone is bruised.

Dr Google suggests it might be rib flare, where the ribs ligaments are softening / stretching to make way for the baby - and that you're stuck with it until the baby engages. Hang on in there - I'm sure it won't be long for either of us :)

If it is arund where your tummy meets your ribs check it out as can be something nasty like pre-ecampsia, hernia or liver thing.

Mine turned out to be a damaged stomach muscle though, thanks to throwing up so much when exhausted, and rapidly expanding bump pushing my limits.
