... Feeling really tired? This is my second pregnancy and I didn't feel at all like this last time. In fact, I felt very lively right until the last few days before going into labour. I'm normally a really active person but not any more!
Is anyone else feeling like they want to lie in bed all the time???

i'm exhausted! 36 + 1. that + 1 is very important right now! i feel like i just drag myself around all day. and this is my 3rd pregnancy! no opportunity for rest...

Oh good, glad to know it's not just me! Having difficulties explaining my exhaustion to my husband. He just does not get it . Duh!

it is annoying isn't it? are you having a good pregnancy apart from the tiredness?

Kitty81 · 20/03/2011 18:23

Shattered. Yet can't effing sleep. Ah the joys... 37 weeks tomorrow and so unbelievably tired. Also glad to see it's not just me; I've had hyperemesis throughout this pregnancy and so thought maybe it wa that.

Stopped work two weeks earlier than planned due to sheer bloody knackeredness. Am assured by a friend (this is my first) that the specific bone-tiredness goes away after birth, only to be swiftly replaced by sleep-deprived insanity :) A change is as good as a rest... Hmm

yes it's true. within a couple of days all my pg symptoms went. was bliss. but there were different things to occupy my mind then...

Have you had your iron levels tested? I am 37 weeks and was feeling really tired. It turned out my iron levels were low. I'm on iron tablets now and feeling much better. Might be worth asking your midwife?

Marzipanlover · 20/03/2011 20:07

Warthog - yes have had a great pregnancy up till now. Guess I am lucky!

Loopy - thanks for the iron tips, I haven't been tested so will speak to my Mw about this.

I'm 35 + 1 and every couple of days have to have a day where I'm just in the house having little naps. There is no way I could still be at work now - left a couple of weeks ago!

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 20/03/2011 20:20

Me too, and still only 29 weeks. I've barely managed to leave th house all week...
