Travel Insurance for pregnant ladies???

Hi,
Im 11 weeks and due to go over to Dublin for a few days next week.
Before i go and get a bog standard insurance package can you tell me if theres any out there for pregnant ladies please??

I just used standard travel insurance but had to phone pre existing illnesses line just to be sure they had it on record I was pregnant. I didn't want them wriggling out of a claim!! I didn't have to pay any extras but at least I knew I was covered.

Same as Addicted - I made sure I told them (in my case standard Amex insurance) that I was pregnant, but they told me that pregnancy 'wasn't a medical condition' so I didn't actually have to inform them at all - although I think that was only up until about 36 weeks.

Just ring and tell your normal insurers. But the Republic has a reciprocal agreement with the UK anyway,so you would be treated for free. Have you got one of those new cards - equivalent of the E1-11?
I had a little stay in the Rotunda maternity hospital due to hyperemesis. They didn't ask for anything.
