Went for seven week reassurance scan. Full bladder, fit to burst, yet sonographer couldn't see anything. Very worried now. They did blood test, Hcg level result:4397. Is that good or bad for dates? They will do another blood test tomorrow to see if Hcg is increasing. They wouldn't offer me any advice, saying we had to wait until Sunday's blood test results. I'm also booked in for another scan next Friday. Please share any advice regarding Hcg results. Very very worried. Anyone experienced nothing in early scan too? I was offered an internal scan, but I refused. Wasn't comforatable with the idea. TIA x

Hi Diamonds, I am so sorry for you loss. I was really hoping things would go the other way Sad You could take Raspberry Leaf capsules to help make your uterine contractions stronger. Its is by no means a fool proof way of expelling the sac but it may help. I hope you are being monitored - or have some follow up planned with the doctor?

You also have the right to request medical management (taking cytotec tablets orally or vaginally which will make your uterus contract) or an ERPC - a procedure under general anasthetic to remove the sac.

Here is some more info from the NHS website

I agree with the others that lots of treats are in order. You need to really pamper yourself and get as many people around you to support you too.

xxx

.. also, when I had my miscarriage I found this site very very useful, it answered a lot of questions about what was going on physically and emotionally too.

Hi all,

I am going back for more bloods today to see what is happening with my levels.

I had some on Friday, they were 617 and then on Sunday they were 690. I'm really worrying. does this definitely mean a miscarriage?
