Is it normal for MS to come back in the third trimester? I was just getting used to not having it and maybe having more energy but now I feel particuarly first trimesterish...is this normal? Why does it happen? Im 28 wks

Yes it can. I have read that it is fairly common for it to come back in the third trimester but for different reasons than the first. I'm 39+6 and have had the odd return of morning sickness in my third trimester and more frequently I feel sick but am not actually sick. Unlike my first trimester though my sickness does just tend to be in the morning as where in my first trimester I was often sick morning, after lunch and before bed. My theory behind it - it has something to do with being lay down for too long, when I get up the sickness subsides.

I had morning sickness the whole 9 months but I found it worse in the 1st and 3rd trimesters.

Mine seems to have returned the past week - i'm 33 weeks - not as severe but same pattern as before starting early evening and getting worse as night goes on

Hmmm, not good news then. I am interested in your laying down theory 1Catherine as it has returned at the same time as I have been getting 11 hours sleep a night after having only about 5 or 6 for a few weeks (building works in house, sleeping on floor...long story)I wonder if I limit myself a bit whether it will go again?

Mine has also returned. I'm 29 weeks and was clearing out the fridge yesterday and had to make a hasty run to the toilet to relinquish my sandwich. Never knew MS could do that...
