High red blood cell count at 28weeks

I received a letter from my Drs today asking me to make an appointment to re-do 28 week blood tests. Phoned the surgery and the Dr said my results had come back with high red blood cell count especially when compared to my 12 week blood tests.

Has anyone else had this? Looked on the net and it seems that it's more common to have low RBC count during pregnancy and this is a sign of anaemia but can't find much about causes of high count.

Dr said not to worry too much but just wondered if anyone else had same issue?
