is this me just being a whingebag? i am 28 weeks and just feel perma knackered. Every bone in my body seems to ache and I am sure I could sleep all day, every day.... But unfortunately, I have a 3 year old, a long commute and a demanding job!

After morning sickness I have had sinusitis, flu and tracheatis, sciatic and to cap it all I am now breathless. Last time I ran 5 miles a day until I was 36 weeks pregnant - how can it be so different!

Just praying that although my pregnancy is harder, that I get an angel baby who sleeps thru the night from birth - thats how it works isn't it??

Any ideas for getting thru the next 12 weeks would be gratefully appreciated....

Are you taking iron, it helped me.......a little, you may just need to relax a bit more and cut down on work, if that is possible. I was a lot more tired this pregnancy but I have 2 littles this time round so it is to be expected that you are more tired when you have other kids to look after.

Glad it's not just me - I'm currently 29 weeks. I was never keen on exercise though, the idea of running 5 miles even when not pregnant makes tired...
My job is office based, and the only exertion is getting up to go to the loo or put the kettle on, yet by the end of the day I am wiped out. I have some annual leave left so am down to a 4 day week from next week - would that work for you? I'm planning to spend as much of Monday as possible in bed! I'm also praying for an angel baby, but as this is my first, doubt that I will be that blessed!

are you anaemic? causes tiredness and breathlessness. Apparently 28 weeks is a CLASSIC time for anaemia to kick in.

Me too! Not all day but once one or two in the afternoon hits I could very easily lay down and pass out. I'd heard that the tiredness similar to 1st trimester came back again but wasn't expecting it for another few weeks yet. So, sadly no, I have no advice but I can empathise with you. x

Me too! Just over 30 weeks, knackered, and out of puff going up the stairs! Also have a 3yr old, I feel your pain!

pipoca how would you know re being anemic? Would MW need to take blood?
