My wife ain't big (size 8 on a pie day) but she is 20 weeks pregnant and if you look from the front it's obvious but from the back it's impossible to tell and I am sick and tired of her coming home with more tales of being banged and jostled that I'm ordering some high vis vests with pregnant on the back in bloody great letters, don't know if anyone else suffers the same so putting out.

Just checked out www.hivis.net and they reckon for plain yellow it's £3.83+VAT or neon pink £7.13+VAT.

I'm going pink will let you know how it goes.

good luck with that

SocialChameleon · 15/03/2011 16:55

ooh get the vests with extra padding..or even the inserts for all the cotton wool you'll need to cover her in Grin

nunnie · 15/03/2011 16:57

Work for this site by any chance?
Not my cup of tea, I don't like to wear slogan t-shirts as I don't need the world to know I am carrying a baby, I am unlikely to wear a vest advertising it.

SocialChameleon · 15/03/2011 16:58

just get the hivis vest saying wide load - perhaps get some hazard lights and beeping noises to sound off whenever she is moving

Rieslinger · 15/03/2011 17:14

Yup ordered in candy pink sorry there is no way I'm suggesting wide load anywhere near my DW, value my life.

Damn, your post looked so much more interesting than it actually was. I was really looking forward to hearing how these stupid people got the train in shops...

Ho hum, good luck with the vest.

missnevermind · 15/03/2011 17:44

And here was me thinking the shop was on the train. And wondering how big this train was!

ShowyTech · 15/03/2011 17:46

I had visions of adults straddling toy trains in the elc. Most disappointed I was.

Pay well your employers Rieslinger? The high vis people?

ShatnersBassoon · 15/03/2011 17:48

A maternity donkey jacket to go with the hi-vis vest would be brilliant. Add those to your product range, Rieslinger.

jenga079 · 15/03/2011 18:15

Not quite sure of your use of the phrase 'putting out' either...

happycamel · 15/03/2011 18:17

Biscuit What do you reckon will happen when she gets bumped, will she sponateously combust?

Oh, and if this is advertising then its £50 and in the classified sections please.

mamamona · 15/03/2011 18:22

Hmm How did you get a train inside a shop?
