no idea, but I'm sat here having braxton hicks' again, so I'll happily wait for some proper advice with you! Grin

Well I am also in the labour waiting room at 39+4 and believe you should know it's labour if your cramps/contractions are regular and don't stop if you move about or change activity e.g. go for a walk or have a bath.

If you stop cramping or they're not regular it's probably just Braxton Hicks.

But hey I have never done this before so that's pure theory!

I'm 39+1 and my BH have got worse over the last few days. More pain right at the bottom of my bump and more backache - I suspect I'm in slow labour which I've been through before. Very wearing!!!

But you will know when you're in full blown labour (if I can put it like that!) as it's unmistakeable! And if I wasn't so bloomin knackered tonight I'd be wishing that was me now but all i want to do is go to bed and sleeeeeeeep........

My BH's went on all evening and then stopped when I went to bed, again.

Hope you're onto something more productive Claire, keep us updated!

midwife said it is very hard to tell the difference between false labour and early stages but she would guess i was in early stage's cause it hasnt went away completely but as i said to her early stages can go on for ages lol baby will come when i am not expecting it lol just a waiting game now...i am not very good at waiting for things lol xx
