Bleeding after sex?!?!?!?!?!

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant. Last night after dh and I had sex I noticed a few small spots of blood when I went to the loo.

There was probably about 8 small dots of blood. Do you think I should be worried about this?

We have had to change our "usual" positions as they were getting uncomfortable and I'm wondering if it's just becuase dh was a little rough

There is no bleeding this morning and everything seems to be fine.

No. The cervix becomes heavily vascularised during pregnancy and it's possible sex irritated it. Phone your midwife just to be sure, however.

SH - I had this when I was 39wks pg. But it was definitely just a tiny TINY graze where DH had been over zealous.

The tiny amount of blood from the smallest of grazes can be exaggerated when absorbed into toilet tissue.

You're still best to phone the midwife anyway.
