Hi I had a booking appointment with my Dr about 1.5 weeks ago. She said she was going to refer me to the hospital as quickly as possible and I think she said they would contact me. She didnt mention contacting the midwife and am not sure who will be taking care of the pregnancy as I have had a DVT before.

I still havent heard anything from the hosptal or anyone else for that matter.

I will soon be nine weeks which I know is still early but should I just wait or try and follow it up?

Is this your 1st?

Definitely follow it up. It won't do any harm, and if the referral hasn't gone through for any reason it will help things along.

Second nunnie, but the first I was under a midwife.

Just asked, because I am on my third and I received my booking in appointment with hospital about 2 weeks after seeing GP, and then I received a letter from community midwife asking me to make an appointment at 16 weeks. Have had scan and booking in appointment and for me I need to see Consultant at 16 weeks so won't be seeing my midwife until 28 weeks now.

Should have said my booking in appointemnt was done at just under 10 weeks.

Oh right ok, Thanks Nunnie. Maybe that is how it will be. I will wait until the end of the week.

If you haven't heard anything by then, then give them a ring it won't do any harm.
