Shall I find out the sex of my baby at my 19 week scan?

dh wants me to - we have 2 girls and, to be honest, he really really wants a boy and wants me to find out so he isn't horribly disappointed at the birth (if its another girl).

I don't care what I have (although having a boy would be easier in terms of family pressure!!)

I am hoping the baby will keep its legs crossed. I really don't want to know.

I could tell from DS3's scan picture that he was a boy - there was no hiding it! DH however didn't believe me!

I like Honor.

Stella just makes me think of lager, I'm afraid.

Iris is very old-fashioned, imo. I went to Sunday School with an Iris.

HRHWickedwaterwitch · 25/11/2005 11:44

Ooh I really like Iris. I'd find out, I like surprises but not of this type, I asked both times. Cod, you HOOVERED your LAMP SHADES? Are you mad? Have you got too much time on your hands perchance? (I am working at home today, can you tell?)

Think of moon-faced Stella McCartney I'm afraid.

Enid · 25/11/2005 11:48

We found out with our first a boy (first on my side for 3 generations!). This time I am thinking of not finding out, but not sure if I could wait as very impatient.

Iris, Stella and Honor sounds like backstage at fashion week. But I really like all the names.

Enid · 25/11/2005 11:50

no I love harriet but unfortunately gave it to dd1 as a middle name (never thought I might have to name 3 girls )
