I have been having contractions on and off for a few days and weeks before this. I have just been for what I thought was a wee. Sorry if this is TMI. So I go for a wee then it wont stop and there ia lots coming out. I only wee in small amounts as im sure you ladies will know!! It feels like your baldder is full but then its a little wee. This would not stop. I looked at the fluid and it seems clear. (hard to tell with blue toliet freshner in there!!) but it was not a yellow colour really clear. Could not smell anything. Not getting any pains now and feel like there is no pressure under my tummy (top of pubic bone). This is weird!! My hind waters broke in the last pregnancy whilst in labour then they had to break my waters. Does anyone have the same? Smile

I am no expert, but I think you should probably put a sanitary towel on and phone your midwife!

Keep the towel, they want to see it when you go in.

I cant be too specific here because I havent been through this yet (and I was listening that carefully), but last week at our aquarobics class the MW told us about a fluid leak that happens as the cervix ripens. Its not a show (which is mucusy) and its not amniotic fluid (which smells like a pond and is yellowish) - it is a clear fairly odourless fluid. I cant tell you any more than that other than it is normal...but of course phone your MW for an explanation.

My waters broke on the toilet with DS1 - the small amount, is that the hind?
Although I wasn't certain at thetime if that's what it was either. Confused

If you call the labour ward and let them know. They may want you to go in and they can do a test to see if they have broken.

good luck Smile
