Pregnant?

Hi all,
I'm new here and I'm a bit confused. My husband and i have been trying for a baby for quite awhile. For about seven months now I have been experiencing alot of symptoms which I first thought was pregnancy, like heartburn, nausea, reflux, excess mucus (lovely I know!) pain in my ribs, being tired, my breasts seem to be always sore/tender etc. After a few weeks from when these symptoms started and when my period didn't arrive I took a pregnancy test, I thought it came up positive but wasn't sure (it was a cheap test, confusing instructions) so my husband went out and got me a clearblue test, which came up negative.
I went to my GP who told me I should wait for a few weeks then do another test, however my period came within that time, although slightly different from normal.
So I figured I wasn't pregnant, but seven months on(approx) my symptoms havn't changed I sometimes get dizzy spells and now have noticed I am putting on a bit of weight, though it's not alot and I'm quite slim (about size 8/10)
I'm not sure what to do I feel like I'm pregnant but I have had a negative test and no weight gain until the past few weeks....

If I understand your email correctly are you saying you think you may be 7 months pregnant?

If your periods have continued and you had a -ve test result, esp with a digital, I would assume not pregnant and that something else is going on?

I hope you get the result you want and that this resolves itself soon.

Have you been having normal monthly periods? Being pregnant is VERY unlikely but not outwith the realms of possibility. If you seriously think you could be pregnant then you need to go to your GP, pregnancy tests would not show a positive at 7 months.

It Would be around seven months since the symptoms started, and that was when I missed a period but since then I have bled every month although they aren't as heavy or last as long as normal I would still consider them to be normal.
I was thinking of taking another test but if it wudnt show up then there's not much point! I am supposed to go for an ovulation test at my clinic this wednesday (as we have been trying for a few years to have a baby) I'll mention all this to the nurse then.
Doctors have tested me for lots of things but can't find an explanation for my symptoms. I know it's unlikely that I am but not totally impossible I know of a few people not knowing they were pregnant until very late on in their pregnancy. On the one hand I would be over the moon as we are desperate for a child but on the other I wouldn't want to go so far in my pregnancy without knowing, getting the proper scans/care etc.
