I know it's normal- but need to moan... I feel like I pulled muscles all along the bottom of my bump ESP on the right side. I'm 20 weeks. And when I rest I'm fine but when I'm walking or standing for a long time it cab be really uncomfortable and I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself :(

How about wearing a maternity support belt? I wouldn't be without mine.

You can buy them in Mothercare, or get them free from the physio (assuming you can get an appointment that is!).

Had EXACTLY the same pains around the 20 week mark - now 23 and a bit - and I worried that I was developing SPD. Now it's calmed down again (gone, even) I think it was simply a big old growing spurt by the baby and my body stretching and aching to accommodate.

A couple of nights I had warm baths, a couple of paracetamol and went to bed early with my dreamgenii pillow (it makes me happy on quite a deep level!) and that was lovely. I think if it continues you should definitely look at a support belt, but otherwise you just need to take it easy and sit down as much as you can. Walking really hurt me - even just around a supermarket - and made me feel really frightened and miserable. The less I did, the better I felt!
