Hey all, I am hoping that some of you may have some advice/esxperience of this.

Baby appears to have back over to my right hand side, head down, and feet higher up on left hand side, so is looking over to my left hip. Head not fully engaged yet. But not fully transverse either.

Midwife did not appear too worried and said that there was plenty time to turn so advised scrubbing floors and getting on birthing ball. However, since getting home today I have logged on and read that many women have had to have c-sections for this?? my midwife didn't mention this to me!

Feeling a bit panicked and upset now.

Do any of you have stories of this, any good positions to try on the birthing ball or whatever, any advice to calm me?? Things have been plain sailing and baby was in perfect position up until this appointment. Thanks.

Had that with my first, which did end up as c-section but for totally different reason. It is not uncommon but they do say makes labour a bit harder (I only had gas and air and had fully dilated and 2 hours pushing).
My fourth is now in exactly the same position again. It's not ideal but some just move around totally in labour and most are just a little bit more painful that way round but come out fine, remember seeing one on 'One Born Every Minute' and looked totally straightforward.
Not sure if that helps or makes you feel worse!!

Thanks Janus, think I have things in better perspective today. Gonna try and watch the OBEM episode now!
