Anyone NOT had morning sickness or feeling pregnant

I am trying to count myself very lucky as I have not had ANY morning sickness so far. I don't feel worried really as I didnt last time either with my little girl.
I am about 8 weeks now and I do already have a rather large bump of fat or gas (whatever it is) and got myself maternity stuff today. An old lasy also asked me yesterday when I was due Blush
Its my third pregnancy so am not beating myself up too much but hell another 8 months of this seems a bit unfair!

Apart from that I don't really feel pregnant at all.

Hi! I'm 7 weeks today and apart from tender boobs I've had no symptoms at all. I do feel particularly knackered some evenings but even that's settled a bit! I'm taking comfort in my sore boobs at the moment as that's the only thing that makes me feel half pregnant! I've still got a Clearblue digital in the medicine cabinet for another check when it really starts to worry me!

lexxity · 08/03/2011 20:42

I've had my 2nd baby but I was fairly sure that there was nothing in there as I had no symptoms at all during the first trimester apart from just "knowing". Not like my first pregnancy, urgh, wouldn't want to repeat that again in a hurry.

Noddyrocks · 08/03/2011 20:44

I dont even have sore boobs! :( :)
I do feel pretty tired though I guess.

Out of all 6 of my pregnancies the only one I had morning sickness with was the one that ended in a miscarriage. All the others only had one or two symptoms early on.

Rannaldini · 08/03/2011 20:49

sick as a dog number 1
less with number 2
not a thing number 3

Voddy · 08/03/2011 20:49

I never had morning sickness and didn't feel 'off' at all for the entire 9 months [smug emoticon].

I actually ended up having several scans and doppler monitoring throughout my pregnancy as I never felt even remotely pregnant. Looked it though Grin

del1 · 08/03/2011 20:51

I was sick as a dog with my first two, one boy, one girl. I also had every other symptom there is.
But I am now 14 weeks with number 3, and havnt had any thing?
I was getting worried that everything was ok, but had my 12 week scan, and there is a baby there! Smile
The midwife said it might be because I still have pregnancy hormones in my body?
Not complaining though, some women get nothing at all, lucky things eh!
A friend of mine said she didnt even know she was pregnant, and found out at 6 months Shock

Noddyrocks · 08/03/2011 20:55

I wonder if the symptoms get less with each pregnancy or as you say del maybe if you have them close together you dont get so bad. Having said that my first pregnancy was a long time (about 4 years) before my last pregnancy.
6 months!! Gosh I look 6 months already!
But my Dad said he sometimes got women into A and E with labour pains who didnt even know they were pregnant!

hi, im 9 weeks pregnant and i dont feel it :( there is a baby there tho as i had a bleed at 6 weeks and at 8 weeks we saw a feotus with a strong heartbeat :) i only have sore boobs, but that is subsiding now. i feel nauseous a bit when ive not eaten for a while but apart from that-zilch! i should really count myself lucky. my friend is a week behind me and is so ill. shes even had to go from working full time to part time because shes so ill! if i hadnt of taken a test i dont think i would even know i was now!

confuddledDOTcom · 08/03/2011 21:28

I'm on my 5th pregnancy, one miscarriage and one mid-term birth. I've not had symptoms really with any of them and could count on one hand how many times I've been sick between them all.

Noddyrocks · 08/03/2011 21:36

I wonder what we non sickies all have in common then!! :)

Apparently 50% of pregnancies suffer from morning sickness - we just hear more of people complaining they have it than people saying they don't - so it's not that unusual really.

del1 · 09/03/2011 10:43

Never - only 50% suffer?
I was bloody unlucky with my other two then!Shock
Tell you what though, it is sooo much more enjoyable having no symptoms than spending 3 months looking grey and heaving all day!
Only negative, is that I can eat what I want now, so put loads of weight on already! (only 14 weeks)
With my first two, I hardly ate for the first 3 months, so sort of kept my figure?
Im gonna be a tank this time, I can tell Wink

eastegg · 09/03/2011 13:30

At last noddy, someone else who hasn't got sore boobs! Annoyingly mine aren't even any bigger yet (they are small normally so I see that as one of the few perks of pregnancy). They definitely got bigger with DS by this stage so I just keep waiting.

KatieWatie · 09/03/2011 14:50

I'm 8wks and not sick at all, very few symptoms really. My boobs were sore but that's resided... I was tired but that's resided. I still desparately want booze! I've got no cravings. Like you I'm carrying a bit of water or something, but that's it. It does make me worry a bit Confused.

I've just seen the midwife and had all sorts of tests and I'm half expecting a phone call saying "you're not really pregnant at all".

My first pregnancy (ended in MC) I was quite sick, my boobs went massive, and I couldn't even think about booze without feeling sick which was lucky really!

Noddyrocks · 09/03/2011 19:41

East egg, mine grew last time with the rest of me and I never had time to shift any of it :(
I do have some low back pain atm though. I was a b cup before second pregnany and size 12 and went up to D cup and a size 16-18, I really wish I had lost the weight before this one but hey! I do feel bad about having put so much on though. As least if you have smaller ones it doesnt make you look as large fatI think. It was good when they grew because I felt more 'womanly' I think but now just plain fed up of being overweight :(

Confuddled I thought it was 80 per cent of women who had sickness. I read somewhere on the net.

Katie, Sure the odd glass of wine wont hurt in moderation.

Del1 precisely my problem, I was kind of hoping for a bit of sickness so I didnt put on more weight! :(

I am 32 weeks pg and (fingers crossed) have had no sickness at all - some godawful heartburn though!

My best mate OTOH was sick at least once a day for the first 4 months :(

I feel very fortunate

Kimmie30 · 09/03/2011 22:06

So glad to see this thread! I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant with my 4th child and usually by now in pregnancy feel very sick and generally ill. But i don't this time and am now starting to panic!! :(
DD1 really sick...was so poorly and lost weight!
DS2 felt sick permently for the first 12 weeks but was'nt sick.
DD3 felt queasy and faint from week 6 til week 11 then fine.
This time i keep wondering if i am still pregnant. Boobs are bigger and are sore one day and not the next and i look bloated but that's it. What's all that about?? :) xxx

confuddledDOTcom · 09/03/2011 22:29

I've just read 75% of women get nausea and only 50% get the sickness too. So it's not that 50% get nothing, it's 25% getting nothing and 25% just feel rough.

Noddyrocks · 10/03/2011 07:33

Oh ok Confuddled! :) I've got you.
Don't panic Kimmie, I think there are lots of us now in the same boat which is reassuring! x :)

In my 8th week of 1st pg and bar sore boobs and feeling bloated that's it, not complaining just don't feel pregnant, almost tempted to do another test! Does make me worry a little bit but keep telling myself that we're all different.
