Week by week moving graphic of pregnancy?

Does anyone recall seeing a moving week by week graphic that shows what pregnancy actually does to your insides?

I can't remember if it was via a link that someone posted on MN or if it was on some other lesser site that I might have accidently ended up on before realising that my true home was here Grin

It was really interesting to see but it terrified my DH because it shows all your insides being squished into a very small gap...although I'm not sure why he is so worried... it's happening to me not him Grin

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Oooo I'd be interested in this - as my stomach muscles a a good few inches separated I've had my bowls poking up and out for a couple of months now! My friends can't understand why - it makes for a horrible bump shape at the moment (18w) - someone please post this if it exists!

You have got me looking for it now! sounds fun Grin

I found this which shows baby in rotatable 3D but not what happens to mums body

Yes, I know the one you mean so I reckon it must have been on here. Unfortunately I have no idea what site it was on....

MummyAbroad · 08/03/2011 18:19

But I don't have flash on my phone so one of you will have to check.

captainbarnacle · 08/03/2011 18:22

I think that's it! Brilliant :) Many thanks.

MummyAbroad · 08/03/2011 18:28

wow Zipitydoda thats the one. Its really cool Grin

kampakat · 08/03/2011 18:29

mummyabroad that is almost the one I was looking for, it definately looks the same but it moved through the stages from 8 weeks to full term in one image...

zip This wasn't the one I saw originally but that is fab!

Thank you ladies - I shall now be able to scare my DH again with how I look on the inside Grin

Hang on a darn minute!!!!

If you look at the very start she has a flat stomach...and then at the end, after the baby has vacated, her stomach doesn't go back to flat...

My stomach IS going to go back to flat... isn't it??? Hmm

Not that it was flat to start with...but still...

Errr no. My stomach looks like a deflated balloon!

MummyAbroad · 08/03/2011 19:08

kampakat sorry, it goes back down to 6 months size Shock Sad So dont take your tight jeans with you to the hospital for after delivery! By 6 weeks post partum it should reduce much further still as the uterus shrinks back down to walnut size.

NotJustKangaskhan · 08/03/2011 19:22

Depends, kampakat, I did with my first two, but I still have a bump-thingy 18 m0onths after my third (I will admit I'm walking around far less as we moved into a place closer to town before she was born, this may be contributing Grin)

kampakat · 08/03/2011 20:35

mummyabroad thank you for assuming that I might own some skinny jeans Grin
