When can they tell position of baby?

How soon will my midwife be able to tell the position of my baby? I'm 25 weeks now and next appointment is at 28 weeks? Is that still too soon?

No, but it will move a lot between now and delivery!

From what I remember, it's not until towards the end when the baby stays in one place and they can tell if it is anterior or posterior and which way up it is.
