Just a moan and panic really. Due on Thurs and my 2yo has come down with a rotten bug; cough, cold, big lymph nodes, the lot....he is miserable and basically wants mummy and mummy alone. I was relying on him being with family a bit this week to give me a little break, finish packing bag etc and now I can see doctors trips and a poorly boy and am panicking that am going to go into labour with him needing me around....Sad(and its my birthday too!!!) Very indulgent post but just wanted to moan.....sorry....

happy birthday

you WILL NOT go into labour. if he has to get something, isnt it better that he does it today rather than when bub is here?

thanks ladies Smile...yup, definitely better than when baby has just put in an appearance, I just had a panic last night as he was soooo miserable and I could feel the braxton hicks kicking in......a glass of b'day bubbly tomorrow and hopefully (all fingers crossed) ds will be better and baby will put in a well-timed appearance (wishful thinking????)

Fingers crossed you can hold of til he's better.

My only similar experience happened almost a year ago when DD2 was just 6 days old. DD1 wole in the night to tell us she'd been sick and then proceeded to be sick again and again for the following couple of days. I was recovering from a c-section too! I was so worried about DD2 getting sick, or DP and I getting sick, but luckily DD1 kept it to herself.

Good luck!
