might be worth getting your iron level checked as this can cause restless legs if low.
might even be worth trying iron supplement anyway as your body stores will be dropping- how many weeks are you?

Hiya - I fully sympathise - have had it bad with all 3 pregnancies. Try tonic water - the quinine can help. Standing up!! Raising you leg(s) above your head when in bed (i.e. on a few pillows. Either cold compress or hot bath can also help. Avoid tea/coffee - I found these made it worse. Also, what worked for me (which is a bit wierd) was doing something that required all my concentration when it was at it's worst (normally 8-9ish at night for me). So I have done lots and lots of difficult jigsaws - sad but I have to say it did help! Hope these help - but to be honest the only thing that really does the trick completely is walking around (the last thing you want to do after work and whilst you are pregnant!).
It may not last the whole pregnancy. Good luck with everything - hope this helps.

I got this a lot before my pregnancy. I think it was because I drank a lot of full fat Coke - I've heard that consuming a lot of carbs can play a part with some people. I've not been bothered by it since the pregnancy and I've given up Coke - it may or may not be a coincidence! Hope it eases off soon, it's a right pain.

Have a glass of wine- red or white a hour before bed.

I had horrendous restless legs, couldn't get a wink of sleep- was so bad I was in tears.

Tried everything, then came across some research aimed at non pregnant women suggesting a glass a wine before bed relieved symtoms.

It did! Good-luck, I feel your pain!Smile
