If you are already overweight when you conceive, how much (or how little) weight should you gain?
I was overweight when I got pregnant, had lost some weight before conceiving (probably why I did!) but still overweight. I have gained a stone already (eek!) and I'm only coming up to 19 weeks so a long way to go.
I would talk to the midwife about this (anticipating the sensible response), but as this is my second child after my appointment at 16 weeks I am not seeing her again until 28 weeks
so it will be somewhat difficult to address in the meantime....
I have been naughty over last few weeks so really need to cut the crap - but how many calories per day do I and bean actually need?
