Just moved to Tunbridge wells and 3 months preg need Gp advice

Hi we've just moved to twells from oz. Need to get a Gp as am preggers due in sept '11. Can someone recommend a doc. Also what steps should I take to book hospital? Also what's the new hospital like, all experiences welcome. Cherrs

You need to register with a doctor in your area. Ask your neighbours which one they are registered with. You generally can only register with a GP when you live in their area. (like a catchment area for a school)

The GP will do the referal to the hospital.

i live locally actually, the new hospital is amazing! had my 20w scan there on Monday.

But there is problems atm with capacity and turning patients away

Twells looks lovely. Only been here a week so much to get used to and sort out. I dont know a soul yet...

Have twin boys already 9 months and now am 3 months pregnant. So must also find play group or something similar.

We had to go to sevenoaks for 20 wk scan literally on arrival. Didn't know the process to get scan done. Hope I get into local hospital read it's got all single rooms which is good news!

Any local tips for bubs much appreciated...

im actually in Tonbridge so not a clue on local groups im afraid. But your HV will be able to direct you. there is lots available for little ones tho there. Welcome
