Had a blood tests yesterday, how long do they take to get back to you if they find something wrong?

It depends on the test and the hospital but probably by Wednesday if there's something wrong that needs treating. You'll get a call from your midwife (my GTT blood test came back positive so they called my mobile).

I found out I'm rhesus neg at my next appt because it wasn't urgent that I knew. It just meant they had to book me in for anti-D.

If everything is fine they might not even mention the results at your next appt. I always have to ask whether my iron levels are okay (they are) I guess they only mention it if they aren't.

Depending on where there taken and what time of day the results can be done the same day. I used to work in the NHS haematology section. Sometimes the results are done quick but they will not get sent over to your doc that quick. May take a few days. If anything is wrong they normally contact you. If you hear nothing its normally ok or something not that urgent that can wait until your next appointment.

With us they said if anything wrong they will call us, if nothing wrong they will tell us at next MW visit. Although we had NT scan and bloods done and had results in 30 min.
