Sooo im 37weeks, and has what seems to be the most active unborn baby, day night no shes not fussy, she loves a good old kick or squirming sesion,i also have restless leg syndrome as ive been told by midwife which just makes life a living hell day and essically at night where ive tryed everything from warm bath to a hot water bottle to massage and i cant seem to relax in the day as i feel i should be doing something!! Overall exhausted by the hole thing and 100% ready for this baby to arrive anyone feeling my pain would be nice to chat to other people feeling the same!

Oh dear, sorry to hear of your woes! I am 36 + 1 so not that far behind you, although at this stage that is a little like an eternity. I am really looking forward to meeting my baby and getting my body back. I started suffering from oedema in my feet and ankles last week and I am not the sort of person that deals well with my body behaving differently, so not coped with that in the most positive fashion. Although I had Reflexology and acupuncture today and that really helped.
I even managed to sleep from 11 pm to 5.30 am, some achievement when my current cycle is 2.30 am barely back to sleep by 4.30 when I am back up and then just drifting off by 7 am when I am up for the day! My LO kicks me awake too, although I guess I find it very reassuring to feel those big kicks!
I'm excited about finishing work and completing my nesting by scrubbing the house from top to bottom, I think once I have done that next week I will be good to go.
Rachel have you tried any of the things you can do to encourage labour to commence?
