sorry girls know this isnt the right place to post but dont know where else to put this;
my friend had given me the loan of her sliding crib and on the botton is says 90x40cm but when i measure it i get 39.5x87.5cm so what i want to know is what size mattress do i actually get. plus where is the best place to get a fairly deep mattress as im due a 10lb plus baby and would like to get at least 6 months from the crib as its says you can use up to 1 year.

thanks x

This website does made to measure mattresses and they come in different thicknesses. You will need to check how deep the mattress can be for your crib.

I would get the 90 x 40 as I think it can be dangerous to have some too small, do you know what make it is and then you could check with there website which one they recommend?

I would be very doubtful you would get even 6 months use out of a crib. They are much too shallow to be used once the baby is able to roll themselves over and especially when they start to push themselves up to sitting.

I would try a 38 x 89cm crib mattress, which is pretty much standard. If you do, try it with the packaging on and you should be able to return it if it doesn't fit.
