Anyone requested a sweep on or earlier than due date?

has anyone been offered or requested a sweep on or before due date and been allowed?

when I asked my mw/ she said they do them from 40+7 > but that i could have one on due date but no ealier as it would class as induction.

I had one done at 36 weeks, but that was to help ripen the cervix, as I was going to be induced at 37 weeks (Obstetric Cholestasis). Didn't do a great deal for me though.....

I didn't ask for it, the Dr offered.
