It's my pil wedding anniversary in latter this year (a big one) and we were hoping to throw them a party.

However I will be 8 months at the time of the anniversary and they live a five hour drive away, it's my first pregnancy so I have know idea how I will be feeling (and obviously I know everyone is different) but was wondering weather this would be madness. I think I'm going to suggest bringing it forward a month but I guess some mumsnet opinions might help reassure me that it will be fine/or give me back up that it would be better to move it.

i'M 8 months now and would be fine doing it. I'd make sure I took my notes with me though and have the car seat fitted and probably throw my hospital bag in the boot. If only because if you do all that then you'll probably be fine!

Plan extra breaks in the journey. I also recommend a bump belt throughout your pregnancy www.johnlewis.com/230557341/Product.aspx . It keeps the lap part of the seat belt off my bump by holding it to my thighs instead. My MW recommended it because I'm RH- and it makes me so much happier about being in the car.
