Time between midwife appointments!

Im very confused and wonder if anyone can help me! im in my 36th week of pregnancy and am still only having 2weekly midwife appoiontments at my gp, ive got a appointemnt booked for 38weeks but then dont see a midwife again till 5days after my due date when surely my induction proceduce should start. Im just wondering if anyone noes if the time between appoinments is normal thanks :)

should be ok really. They will ask you to keep an eye on baby's movement but there isn't a great deal else for them to do otherwise.

I'm 36w tomorrow and saw mw yesterday. My next appointment's in 3 weeks time when I'll be 38+5. I was a bit surprised but everything is going well so not sure what the point would be of seeing get more frequently. This my 2nd after an uncomplicated 1st. is it you first?

It depends where you are as to how many appts you get, so I've found! But if you are concerned, or want reassurance, etc. your midwife will most likely be happy to see you more. That is what they are there for, after all!

Five days over feels very early for induction to me, considering you can easily be two weeks either side of due date...
