Hello I am 30 weeks preg with DC2. I have a 23 month old DD, work 4 days a week in the City and we are currently renovating our house so living in a flat and having to make daily decisions about paint colour, work tops, tiles etc..! Like everyone else here thats preg, I'm knackered but am also increasingly feeling like a elastic band thats about to snap! I finish work in 6 weeks (after which we should be moving back home) but have so much to do!! Also am really nervous of having two dc. I am so tired now I'm worried about how anyone copes when a second comes along without the lovely pre 1st dc time to sit on sofa and bank up on daytime TV!! Hell, I'm worried about everything at the moment!!

I am conscious that I am stupidly stressed and worry about effect on dc2, dd and dh which just makes me feel worse!

Anyway it has just occurred to me to ask anyone that reads this as to how they relieve stress! Just thought there might be some intersting ideas around... Smile

I did ante-natal yoga with both DCs. Even once a week it gave me some 'me' time, especially 2nd time round, as well as teaching/reminding me about some relaxation techniques. You should be able to find one in your area here: www.birthlight.com as a starter.

Good luck.

Blue, ante-natal yoga is fab I did it for a few weeks at the start of this preg. Unfortunatly due to our working hours there aren't any classes that I can get to. I have looked at your link though and checked again that there is nothing locally at the weekend. It gave me an idea to try aqua exercise though as could do that at local pool presumably..
Thanks for reply!

At the moment, I come on Mumsnet and rant!

Or go and have a nice soak in a (lukewarm) bath with a magazine.

And try to make sure I get a bit of a lie-in/DD-free time at the weekends.

Am also pregnant with DC2 and have also failed to find a pregnancy yoga class that fits in to my life. I did pregnancy Pilates first time around and it was great.

DH is whisking me off for some mum-to-be spa treatments soon, so that should help (maybe you can drop some hints to your DH?).
