a question for mums who have been induced in past pregnancys and gone on to have more children

hi had ds 2 years ago, induced 12 days over and was just curious to know has anyone been induced and then gone on to have subsequent babys arrive on there own? just seem to be reading lots of different storys, some saying if you were induced before then your more likely to be induced again and so on... thankyou :)

My first was two weeks over term so induced-second came right on schedule and third two weeks over.

Mine were both induced 2 weeks over.

im kinda reckoning that its just all different then lol. just really dont want to be induced had a terrible birth last time, would love to avoid that situation againg. but heyy what will be will be i suppose

yes 1st one induced, 2nd one came on time but he was still late, i think 10 days over whereas my first one was induced at about a week over and born 9 days over, so maybe if left longer would have came of his own accord

i mean came by himself not came on time

My first was induced because he was a week over and looked to be huge, my second was a week and a half early and arrived almost on his own - the midwives had given me a sweep because my blood pressure was high and I was in hospital anyway.

First two were induced at 42 and 41 weeks respectively (both super-quick labours despite indiction) third started the show himself at 40+2 (again super-quick).

Hoping I need an induction this time as I am gbs+ and want to avoid baby needing iv antibiotics. Given the speed of my labours I've got most hope of getting the antibiotics if I'm induced. But, of course, that's all a different story!

yep - first was induced at 41+5, second arrived spontaneously 38+2. I never believed the mw who assured me that second babies were much easier, but it definitely was for me!

first was induced 13 days late. Other two came of their own accord-one a week late, the other two weeks late

DS1 was induced at 10 days late, finally born 12 days late!
DS2 was 5 days late, spontaneous labour, 7 hours from first twinge to holding baby.
