when to test

Please bear with me as I am new to this and just need some advise. I had a miscarriage on 20th jan and no sign of period since. We have been trying to conceive since so could be pregnant again. I did a test last sat which Was negative. Just wondered if anyone has been through similar and when they had a positive test. Thanks

I got pregnany fairly quickly after I miscarried but I was told to wait until after I had a normal period before trying again. It took about a month for me to have a period, but we conceived quickly after that.

I'm not sure what the time scale is for having your first period afterwards. It might be worth seeing your GP to find out what to expect.

Thanks for your reply, I had a miscarriage before my ds and my period came back straight away. Its been 42 days and my normal cycle is 28 days. Think i'm just being impatient and should wait but had a few symptoms too.

Did another test this morning and still negative, its driving me crazy not knowing what is happening with my body.
