can anybody tell me if this is my mucous plug please

Hi sorry if this is tmi but yesterday i had a sweep done at 40+4 weeks pregnant a few hours later i lost a big yellowy looking jelly mucous with a few spots of blood wich i assumed was my plug as i never saw it in my previous pregnancy. Anyway woke last nite and my cervix felt so sore i could of cried had more of the jelly mucous but was green at this point have woken this morning gone to the bathroom and its there again but lots.
Is this normal? I always thought green signaled infection? Thanks in advance ladies

yup, sounds exactly like mine just before went into labour with ds.....of course, I would say if youre at all worried call your mw or delivery suite but loads of ladies have had the 'greenish' colour so pretty sure its normal. Best of luck.

i hava been loosing my mucus plug for ages now, and mines yellow/green and isnt any kind of infection as they checked. think its different everytime really, my last pregnancy it was just clear n blood. but if your worried contact your MW. good luck :)
