Hello, I'm due sunday and meant to be packing for moving house on friday...so I thought I'd float around on mumsnet and see whose due and how your all feeling?

Hi, I'm due this saturday & I dont envy you trying to move house at this stage of the game! I'm feeling fed up, achy, tired, nauseous, apart from that I'm excited/scared!

Is this your first Ann?

Annpan88 · 01/03/2011 16:48

Is indeed my first, what about you?

The movings a nightmare (landlords selling flat for very good reasons) but the house we're moving to is lovely.

I'm going between really happy and bouncing about to panicking that everything will go wrong! and the thought of going massively overdue is driving me mad.

Hows your pregnancy been?

sleepysammy · 01/03/2011 16:55

Second time, 2 year old DS currently jumping off coffee table onto sofa and I havent the energy to stop him?!

I went to 42 weeks last time and got a feeling I'm headed that way again, have been having a few aches/niggles in the night but they never amount to anything and disappear by the morning. Be interesting to see who goes first envy!

Pretty crap pregnancy this time, MS to start with and usual tiredness, now having awful heartburn. Never had any symptoms really with DS and getting the works this time. Maybe its a girl???

How about you, do you know what sex your having?

Annpan88 · 01/03/2011 17:04

Yeah we're having a little boy :). Pregs been fine, had a few worries about fluid levels but they confirmed I was at the bottom end of normal so hope everythings fine!

I have a lot of acid relux, and always a night which is a pain.

I bet having a 2 year old is just as tiring as moving!

I've been on mat leave for like 5 weeks now, if I didn't have the move I'd probably be going out of my mind. Saying that I had no idea I could be this tired.

Have you got everything ready?

OP posts:
sleepysammy · 01/03/2011 17:12

I have to say, boys are great not that Im biased in anyway ha ha, but so cuddly and much fun!

Yes, mine seems to get me at night time too, no wonder were tired :-(

He is quite tiring but he is keeping me going at the moment, I think Id be tempted to lie in bed all day if he wasnt here!

I finished work last week, I only worked PT and stayed for as long as possible this time as a) its a rest to sit at a desk all day and b) knowing how overdue I went last time, didnt want to spend too long waiting around. I still reckon at worst Ive another 2 weeks to wait.

Yes got everything ready, am thinking of buying some clary sage oil on Sat to bathe in, desparation will have kicked in by then!

Have you been trying to "out" your LO yet?!

RayeB · 01/03/2011 17:42

Hi! I'm due on Friday. I have a dd who is 2.9 so this pregnancy has been tough as she is so full of energy! I went 3 days over last time but hope I don't go over this time as I have every bad pregnancy symptom going! Had nothing with dd so really different. We don't know the flavour of this one!

I was lucky in that have been off work for just over a month now but also means really ready for this baby to come. Fingers crossed its soon!

ZeroMinusZero · 01/03/2011 21:07

Hey, I'm due this Sunday and am massively pissed off. I can't leave the house any more because moving is so difficult and I struggle to turn over in bed. Everything is massively shit and it feels like my baby will never come :(

I have lost my plug though so hopefully that means something.

Annpan88 · 01/03/2011 21:20

Sorry to hear that ZeronMinusZero - think I've lost my plug in bits and I know what you mean about turning over in bed - its a massive palava and by the time I do I have to get up and go to the toilet and the pillow arranging starts all over again! Its getting so close but feels further away than ever.

sleepysammy I have to admit I've been indulging in some raspberry leaf tea, duno if it will do anything but its worth a try. Clary sage oil you say? I'm sure it won't take long for me to give into that!

Hope all goes well Raybe the time off work has deff made me ready!

Xxxx

Hello ladies

Can I sneak in? Due a week today with our second DC. Have a 2.2yo DD already and this pregnancy has been pretty similar symptom wise but totally different in terms of rest/tiredness! Not sure what this one is but am leaning towards a boy...

DD came 3 weeks early so we were all geared up for this one to do the same but unforunately nothing but false alarms so far. I am finding it really hard to keep cheerful and excited as so tired with the sleepness nights with all the contractions and the turning over thing and the loo thing Grin and it feels like I am already overdue which is stupid I know.

Lots of respect to you Ann for moving - there is no way on earth I could manage to think about doing it at the moment!

Hope we all pop soon!

Annpan88 · 01/03/2011 21:33

Thank you! However my input might turn into me standing/sitting around telling everyone what to do - which I might enjoy for a while inbetween emotional breakdowns!!

I second that hope to pop!

I am due friday, although have a feeling that I will be overdue again (was 5 days late with dd). Suits me fine though, as am really enjoying nesting, being off work and daytime tv (sad I know!)

Annpan - you have my sympathies..we moved a week after dd was born. I was on the phone to the estate agents whilst very high on gas and air. Good luck with both major life events!!

YogaMummy2B · 01/03/2011 21:53

Hi all, not due for another 4 weeks and totally fed up already! Thought you might like to check out this website.
I've also got in the Clary Sage, ingredients for the eggplant Parmesan and am planning a diet of very hot curry, starting in 2 weeks!!
Good luck you all, hope you have wonderful births and healthy bubba's!

Hello,

Also due this week, Sunday. I am very excited, first pregnancy, but the little so and so hasn't turned around yet. Think she's stubborn, and that's only me to blame! So she's still head up and there have been no decisions as to what is going to happen with that. I see the doctor later today so hopefully will have some more answers then!! I think i have to decide between a c-section or a breech birth and have NO IDEA what to go with as have been determined to have a calm (ish) water birth. damn!

Good luck to us all! :o

hails35 · 02/03/2011 13:55

Hi all! I am due tomorrow and despite thinking they had got my dates wrong and was really due middle of Feb - here I am still waiting. Baby is back to back so I have been having serious pains for about 5 weeks now. This is my 3rd and have 2 boys already - don't know what this one is, although very different so who knows! Really ready for it now! Severe back ache, constant strong braxton hicks and 2 little ones to run after! Power walk this afternoon, plus HOT curry for tea, followed by pineapple and raspberry leaf tea. If I was up for sex that would follow - but not a chance!! Ha Ha xx Good luck everyone - keep this post updated with when they arrive.

bootus · 02/03/2011 16:36

Can I join in....am due next thurs, also have 2.5 yr old with boundless energy and I feel like I've been hit by a freight train! Woke up with super attractive cold sore today just to add to ny general waddling, acne ridden appearance. You all have my sympathies with the exhausting last bit and best wishes for the upcoming excitement! X

chocolatemacadamias · 02/03/2011 17:13
