I'm a little addicted to a salad my FIL makes thats Buffalo mozzarella, tomato and avocado with a bit of onion, balsamic and olive oil. I bought all the bits to make it myself for lunch this and then suddenly realised the buffalo mozzarella might not be appropriate?

I bought a nice packaged one from M&S in the water/brine stuff. the packet doesn't say whether its pasteurised or not.

The WWW hasnt been much help. it either says mozzarella is fine, is fine cooked or is possibly fine if in brine but to check.

Anyone know for sure?

Mozzarella is safe to eat, both uncooked and cooked.

Enjoy the salad!
