Hi All. I'm wondering if anyone else feels very dehydrated, especially in the mornings - waking up with dry mouth, yellow wee etc? I feel like I'm constantly drinking boring water and juice, and peeing lots, but often feel a bit headachy hangovery in the morning. Do we actually need lots more fluids when pregant?

As long as your wee is pale yellow, you're OK. if it gets darker, heading towards a strong yellow, you need to drink more. If it gets even darker, heading towards brown, then you are dehydrated and if you can't drink enough to get it paler again then you must see your Dr or mw asap.

Pregnant women often get nasal congestion which forces them to breathe through their mouths at night, ending up dry-mouthed and thirsty in the morning. It really does feel like a hangover! Can you sip a bit whenever you wake at night (you must surely br up for a pee at least once!)?
