strong braxton hicks at 26weeks

I'm 26weeks with DC3 and I have been having braxtons for about 10weeks but tonight they seem quite strong and getting sharp pains up my vagina.

Not that concerned about the braxtons more the fact the sharp pains as well.

Anyone else experienced both of these?

I remember having BH with my DS2 & they were quite painful. I don't recall any sharp pains though. Why don't you call your midwife & have a chat about your concerns?

Hope they are not too bad. I found yoga helped a lot to ease the pain.

Hi I had this around the same time as you. Turned out I had some protein in my urine and infections can cause this kind of thing. Maybe call your midwife/GP see if they think you should take a sample in?
5 days of antibiotics and everything calmed down.

Thanks for replies. I had a little cry then fell asleep and slept through the night for the first time in months, slightly sore tum today though but no pains.
Think I'm gonna get midwife to check me wee just in case. X
