The other night DP farted in bed and I burst into tears ("it just smells so horrible")

A woman at work hid my kitkat as a joke. I cried.

Is anyone else finding themselves crying over pathetic things?

Yup, I'm sensitive even without being pregnant, so I'm completely pathetic when I'm pregnant. I once burst into tears when a co-worker said hello! And once I start I can't stop.....,.,useless!

cried yesterday cos hubby went out with his dad and brother ... i was gonna be all by myself for a few hours! So glad others are crying... thought it was just me!

Probably the first sign that I was pregnant was uncontrollable blubbing every time the John Lewis Christmas ad came on TV....should have known without the need for a pregnancy test!

I don't dare to read the newspaper. Anything could set me off at the moment.

Sorry Jenga but it tickled me when i read your post Grin! totally get it though, horrible!!!!!!!
i cried when DH had been for a work curry and i had to drive him home in -12.
all the car windows were down, must of looked bonkers driving in the middle of town. But the smell was so offensive, it was the only time in 13yrs we didnt share the bed.

i AM 5+5 at the moment. So far I have cried at Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, a couple of Beatles songs and watching dd and ds play sharks in the bath when they thought I was out of the bathroom. That was just today. I cannot stop crying. I am super sensitive as well at the moment and find a dig or complaint in everything dh says at the moment, poor bloke cannot say anything at the moment!
It's going to be a very long 40 weeks at this rate!

jenga079 · 28/02/2011 21:35

Oh gosh, don't remind me of the John Lewis advert. And the Fyfe Dangerfield song from the last advert. Pass the tissues!!!

Cremeeggsrock - I feel your pain. I'm not normally bothered by 'bodily functions', but just cry at anything at the moment!

I had a dream last night that people at my DS school were complaining about his behaviour and woke myself up as I was absolutely sobbing in my sleep. My face and pillow were totally wet and it even woke up my DH! I cry very easily at the moment. The slightest criticism, even someone tutting can do it.

sloathy · 01/03/2011 08:23

I stood in the middle of euston station at rush hour yesterday and wept after a random stranger pushed past me as I waddled along and tutted. If I wasnt 8 months pg he would have got a mouthful but I just stood there and cried. Couldn't stop either. A nice lady came over to see if I was ok and this made me blub even more. Mortifying.

I cried in Homebase the other day because DH asked a question about the baby's room...this was apparently a blatant demonstration of a. The fact he doesn't love me b. The fact he doesn't want the baby and c. Proof that he never ever listens to me so I might as well not bother speaking ever again.

Annpan88 · 02/03/2011 11:49

brilliant! My Dp farted in bed and I yelled at him for about half an hour before crying...my issue was I was in bed, and he was in the lounge then promtly farted as soon as he got into bed - I thought I was being very logical at the time.

KnockedUpMell · 02/03/2011 12:14

Blush i cried last week because my DH bought the wrong type of juice because he thought I'd like the variety after weeks of drinkin orange juice..... I'm drinking gallons of orange juice to take with my iron tablets, and my pregnancy brain intepreted his actions as his way of sabotaging my efforts so my iron level would remain low...

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 20:20

Grin I am very glad I've found you ladies - I thought I was having some kind of episode! annpann there has been an exact replay of the farting in bed scene in my house a few times over the last few weeks. Have been crying all the time at work, for absolutely no reason Blush
