TMI sorry, went to the toilet on saturday night and when I wiped there was a significant amount of blood, so I checked toilet content and it was full of blood. Definatly bowel not other. I am guessing burst piles, have been using some pile cream for a week or so as I knew I had a pile issue. If they have burst does that mean I am clear now, or do I need to use something to keep them away?

I know it's not nice for dinner chat, but a bit worried as it was a little scary until I knew it was bowel.

I think if you had THAT much bleeding, a trip to the GP should be in order Smile

Oh I intend to just can't get in for a couple of days yet and wondered if I should be doing something inbetween. Fell fine and I did then to there was no pain at all.

As long as you have no pain and no bleeding between bowel movements than I don't think you should worry. Only other advice I can give is not to strain when having a bowel movement and keep using the cream until you see GP.
