is it safe to dye your hair during pregnancy?

sorry "last" week. I am having mine coloured at Xmas. She said it was an old wives tale.

Yes, had mine couloured at least 4 times during each pg.

Apparently it can take differently when you're pg, so might be safer to let the experts get on with it. At least then you've got someone to blame if you end up a different colour to normal

MM if you get a pro to do it also they have the magic touch of not going completely to the scalp, i just felt better with that whilst i was pregnant and very blonde

I have perused the internet and have found no reason not to dye my hair as much as I want. There is no evidance to support theories that hair dye harms the unborn.

Perfectly safe other than your hair may have changed texture due to hormone levels so it may be more or less porous than usual, and so the colour may come out slightly different than normal.

Having said that I stopped bleaching my hair during pregnancy as the smell of it made me feel ill.

I did mine at 16 weeks and all was fine... I plan on doing it again soon.. Go for it.
